The 4th Plenary Meeting of the ODYSSEUS on May 23rd and 24th, 2024 in Athens, Greece was organised by Telesto Technologies, bringing together partners from across Europe to discuss the progress and future of the EU funded project.

The first day of the plenary meeting kicked off with an atmosphere of anticipation and collaboration. Representatives from each partner organization presented updates on their respective tasks, highlighting significant milestones achieved since the last meeting. The presentations underscored the consortium’s collective dedication to advancing the ODYSSEUS project’s objectives. Several partners showcased advancements in their deliverables, demonstrating innovative solutions that contribute to the project’s overarching goals. The discussions were candid, with partners openly addressing challenges encountered and collaboratively exploring solutions. This transparent exchange fostered a sense of unity and shared purpose.

The afternoon sessions were dedicated to strategic discussions, where partners engaged in fruitful dialogues about the project’s future plans. Topics included the effective integration of various technological components developed by different partners, ensuring optimal use of resources to maximise project outcomes, and setting realistic targets for the next phases of the project. The second day shifted focus to the practical application of the project’s pilot implementations and the methodologies underpinning the technologies. In-depth sessions were held to discuss the possible issues during pilot operations and the strategies to overcome them. A significant portion of the day was dedicated to discussing the methodologies employed in the development and testing of the technologies. This included techniques for gathering and analysing data to ensure robust and reliable results, ensuring that the technologies developed are user-friendly and meet the needs of end-users.

The plenary meeting concluded with a thorough discussion on the accomplishment of the project’s targets. Partners reviewed the progress against the set objectives, celebrating achievements while acknowledging areas needing further attention. The collective agreement was that while significant progress has been made, continued effort and collaboration are essential to fully realize the project’s potential.
