The ODYSSEUS project was proudly represented at the EAB Research Projects Conference (EAB-RPC) 2025, held in Darmstadt, Germany, on 22–23 September 2025. The conference, organized by the European Association on Biometrics (EAB), gathered key stakeholders from research, industry, and public authorities to discuss the latest developments in Biometrics and Identity Management.
Niklas Palaghias, CEO of Quadible, delivered a presentation titled “ODYSSEUS Overview”, providing participants with an in-depth look at the project’s innovative solutions for secure and seamless border crossing. The presentation sparked significant interest, particularly regarding the technologies developed within the project and the outcomes of the pilot activities.
The ODYSSEUS team engaged in fruitful discussions with members of the scientific community, industry partners, national authorities, and other EU-funded initiatives, fostering valuable networking opportunities and collaborations. Attendees responded positively to ODYSSEUS’s technological achievements, highlighting the project’s relevance in advancing the future of border security and traveller facilitation in Europe.
With a total of 63 attendees, EAB-RPC 2025 once again proved to be a leading platform for sharing insights and strengthening the European research ecosystem in biometrics and identity management.
