ODYSSEUS was among the co-organisers of the Detection Hub Workshop: Clustering Innovative Scientific Approaches to Enhance the Detection of Drugs, Explosives and Illicit Goods, held on 17 June 2025. The event brought together the scientific community, industry and technology partners, stakeholders, national authorities, and institutions to address technical challenges in border security.
ODYSSEUS contributed with a Project Overview presentation and participated in Panel 2: Border Security Innovation – Technical Challenges and Obstacles in EU Projects for Detecting Illicit Goods and Scanning Solutions. During the workshop, a white paper titled “The Deliberate Exposure of Humans to Radiation for Non-Medical Imaging Purposes in Border Security Applications” was distributed. The discussions highlighted ODYSSEUS’s detection technologies, including cameras and X-ray equipment, and encouraged knowledge exchange among experts.
