The ODYSSEUS project will conclude with its Hybrid Final Event and Pilot Demonstrations on 26–27 November 2025, hosted by Rapiscan Systems in Stoke-on-Trent and Manchester, United Kingdom.
This one-and-a-half-day event will showcase the project’s key results and technologies developed to ensure secure and seamless border crossings through innovative, unobtrusive solutions. Participants will have the option to join in person or online.
26 November 2025 – Pilot Demonstrations (Rapiscan Systems, Stoke-on-Trent)
Participants will explore ODYSSEUS innovations through a series of live demonstrations at Rapiscan Systems’ facilities:
Carview Pilot Activities – Technology inspection and KPI validation.
Test Facility Tour – Visit to the X-ray Imaging Laboratory and overview of image data generation.
InSight Demonstration – AI-based threat detection and people-counting algorithms.
Factory Tour – Overview of cargo and vehicle inspection products and assembly processes.
27 November 2025 – ODYSSEUS Final Event (The Bridgewater Hall, Manchester)
The final event will gather project partners, stakeholders, and policymakers to discuss the results, lessons learned, and future directions of border management technologies.
